Ms. Tiwari is the Director and CEO of Ambuja Cement Foundation and President (CSR & Sustainability) at Ambuja Cements Limited. With 37 years of experience in the development sector, Ms. Tiwari is a social development professional having worked in this area across diverse academic, NGO and CSR roles. A post-graduate from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), she completed the Executive Education course in CSR from the Harvard Business School in 2008 and the Management Programme in Sustainability from Stockholm, Sweden in 2010. Pearl joined Ambuja in the year 2000 and ever since has been at the helm of nurturing Ambuja Cement Foundation that has expanded from a fledging team to nearly 1000 development professionals it now boasts of today, with a pan-India presence active in 44 districts across 11 states. Ambuja’s CSR efforts has been recognised widely and the recent years has seen a slew of national and international awards for CSR, water management, and skill training bestowed by different chambers of commerce and other organisations of repute.

Mr. B.K. Agarwal is an I.A.S. Officer of the 1967 batch of Maharashtra Cadre. He retired as Additional Chief Secretary, Govt of Maharashtra in August 2002 after 35 years of service. A graduate in commerce and law, he was awarded the Laxmi Narayan prize for the highest marks in Banking in B.Com examination of Pune University in 1962.

Apart from years of experience of handling administration as Collector, and Chief Executive Officer of ZillaParishads, he has headed a number of commercial industrial and financial corporations of the state government. He served as Managing Director of Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation, Maharashtra State Financial Corporation, and was Chairman of All India Federation of the State Financial Corporations. He has a broad experience in various sectors as he has served as Secretary(Industries), Secretary (Transport) and Secretary (Housing).

As Secretary (Transport) he initiated the policy of Privatisation of the Port Sector, which led to privatisation of Ports; as a result companies like Gujrat Ambuja Cements set up its bagging plant at Ulwa, VikramIspat at Revdanda and J.K. Ispat at Dharamtar successfully. After retirement from government service, he has used his vast experience in handling different matters of Salaam Bombay Foundation. From 2006 to 2009 he devoted himself to the organization of the World Conference on Tobacco and Health, held in March 2009, which was a roaring success. The conference, was hosted by Salaam Bombay Foundation He has continued his association with Salaam Bombay Foundation, as Director till date.

Ms. Devika Chadha, a Masters in Human Development from the SNDT University Mumbai went ahead and did a Management Diploma from NMIMS specializing in Voluntary Sector Management. She was also selected for a Leadership program in Tobacco Control by the John Hopkins School of Public Health, Baltimore. In a results-focused and insightful career of over 24 years across the Developmental Sector, she has gained hands-on expertise and experience in setting up, scaling up and heading practices/verticals of organizations from scratch. She has been responsible for designing strategies and execution road maps for a number of programs launched and rolled out successfully and increasing the span and sphere of influence of the organization.

At Piramal Swasthya, Devika Chadha heads the CSR vertical, which is responsible to bring convergence among multiple stake holders to contribute in the journey of public health transformation by delivering the health care services to the underserved/un served populace. This is done through partnering with like-minded corporates in developing and implementing impactful and innovative health projects that contribute significantly in achieving the India’sSustainable Developmental Goal of Health, with a special focus of Maternal and Child health, Adolescent health and Non Communicable Diseases.

Prior to working with Piramal Swathya, Devika has worked with reputed organisations like Salaam Bombay Foundation, Mel Jol and Sanskardham Vidyalaya for the Deaf. She was with Salaam Bombay Foundation from for over 15 years from its inception and she supported and contributed significantly in its growth and success as a widely accepted think tank and advocacy forum on tobacco abuse.

In her free time Devika likes to paint, travel, watch movies and read.

Rajashree brings with her 2 decades of experience in the development sector, specifically health. With the Foundation for more than 13 years, she has overseen and is responsible for the growth of the Arts academy and tobacco control programs in rural Maharashtra. She has spearheaded Salaam Mumbai Foundation’s foray into other Indian states.

Rajashree holds a Masters in Social Sciences from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work.

A chemistry graduate with additional qualifications in management and counselling, Kalpana Pillai is a seasoned industry professional with 15+ years of hands-on experience. After an enriching stint in the corporate sector, specifically working with a few prominent players in the ITES sector, she went on to do a 2-year fellowship programme with Teach for India. Since then, Kalpana has gone on to work with pioneering NGOs across various sectors, handling projects from education, using sports and dance as medium for skill development, etc. Presently she is spearheading the rural operations for Salaam Mumbai Foundation, currently she leads a team responsible for the Tobacco Control Programme across Rural India. Work aside, Kalpana loves to spend her spare time in several creative pursuits, poetry, music and watching movies.

For the past 12 years, Deepak has been working with Salaam Mumbai Foundation, with the particular focus on the National Replication Programme. In order to make all schools tobacco-free, he liaisons closely with government and non- government agencies, Involved in research, advocacy, and networks with stakeholders at the pan India level. Deepak is a member of the state level De-addiction Committee, formed by the Social Justice Ministry of Maharashtra. An MSW from Nirmala Niketan Collage of Social work, he also holds a diploma in Business Management from Poddar college. Deepak has been associated with the NGO sector since 1996 and has worked in area such as adult and non-formal education, child rights and health.

Dipesh has been working with Salaam Mumbai Foundation for the past 5 years as an Assistant Manager co-ordinating the National Replication Programme. Prior to Salaam Mumbai Foundation, he has worked with SNEHA in Dharavi for 2 years for Dharavi Biennale project as Project Co-ordinator.

Aadesh has been working in Salaam Mumbai Foundation for the last seven years as District Project Co-ordinator. He has experience as secondary school teacher and has spent five years with Swadesh Foundation.

Sanjay has been working with Salaam Mumbai Foundation since last 5 years as a co-ordinator, Rural Maharashtra Tobacco Control Programme. In his previous jobs he has worked with Meljol, Reache Education Action Programme and D.K.T India. He has 13 years of experience in the social sector.
